List of all winners at the Bafta Awards 2009

The English Academy Film Awards, known as the Bafta awards, took place last night and awarded the favorites in the main categories also for the Oscars. Thus, the Best Picture Award went to Slumdog Millionaire, directed by Dany Boyle, which also took home the best director award.

The best actor award went to Mickey Rourke and of Best Actress for Kate Winslet for The Reader - The two are the big favorites to win the Oscar.

El Best Supporting Actor award went to Heath Ledger by the Joker from Batman, the Dark Knight and the Best Supporting Actress for the Spanish Penelope Cruz by Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
