Production company DreamWorks plans to release the official trailer for «Lincoln»By Steven Spielberg, starring Daniel Day Lewis, on Thursday 13 September. But we already have a preview of this film to share, of which we saw the first image of the actor as the former president of the United States.
The film will focus on Lincoln's political clash and the powerful men in his cabinet on the road to abolition and the end of the Civil War. It is based on the best-selling book "Team of Rivals," written by Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, who co-wrote the script with Tony Kushner.
Also starring in "Lincoln" are Sally Field as Lincoln's wife, Tommy Lee Jones as Thaddeus Stevens, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Lincoln's son Robert, and Jared Harris as Ulysses S. Grant. It is scheduled to hit theaters in the US on November 9 this year.
