Al already confirmed Bradley Cooper, in these weeks could join the film adaptation of The A-Team veteran actor Liam Neeson, who would play the Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith.

The popular eighties television series, known in Argentina as Brigada A, and in Spain as Team A, could thus have a great actor in his film version, according to reports Variety. Precisely, the American magazine maintains that the British actor is in full negotiation to integrate the cast of actors.

Neeson's role would be that of Hannibal, a former Vietnam veteran turned mercenary who assists individuals that are threatened. In the original series, the remembered george peppard gave life to Hannibal.

The film will be directed by Joe Carnahan and produced by Ridley Scott, Jules Daly, and series creator Stephen J. Cannell. In executive production will be another Scott, Tony (Ridley's brother); and the script was rewritten by Carnahan and Brian Bloom, based on what was previously done by Skip Woods (GI Joe: Rise of Cobra, X-Men Origins: Wolverine).

The A-Team has a release date (and box office success, I dare say) for June 11, 2010, in what will be a world premiere and simultaneously in several countries.
