Boston's to release 'Legendary Child' in July
The guitarist of Aerosmith Joe Perry confirmed that GIJoe: Retaliation 'and that in a few weeks it will be able to be heard.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Joe Perry stated that the new album "It is very close" and they have already started mixing it. This is the fifteenth work of the Boston group: the last had been in 2004, 'Honkin On Bobo', which was cover versions. The new album will be produced by Jack Douglas (Alice Cooper, The Who). Peery commented:
«The album is going to sound modern and hi-fi. We want to modernize our registry, but keep that energy that we had in our first jobs.
Thus, Aerosmith will return in a few months with a work highly anticipated by fans, who have not heard of the group's new songs since that 'Just Push Play' in 2001. The band will begin their “Global Warming Tour” in North America on June 16 in Minneapolis, and they will visit 18 cities from Toronto to Oakland, California and Atlanta, Georgia.
