Kasabian: "we are not bar musicians"

Kasabian

Tom meighan y Sergio Pizzorno, vocalist and guitarist respectively of this band from Leicester, have stated for a well-known music magazine that do not understand the reason why many have cataloged his music as'bar rock'.

They expressed that people are wrong to pigeonhole Kasabian thus, despite his close association with the group of brothers Gallagher, companion of several tours of the British country ...

When asked if their new album, West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum, it was an attempt to get rid of that adjective, pizzarno responded as follows:
"We were never such a band".

"If you put our records on the stereo and listen to them carefully, you will realize that it is not bar rock. What there is is real British rock… it is what there is. I find it a bit funny to hear that people think that about our music ... they have no idea"He added.

He also shed some light on his new album:
"I think this album shows how perfect we are as a group… how perfect we have become. We were like an ugly duckling, but now we have grown… it is as if we have developed, flourished. I think we have matured in every way".
