Jon Favreau returns to his roots

Jon Favreau

Jon Favreau has had a quite prolific career in the world of cinema, even as an actor, where he started back in 1996 with comedy Swingers, but his fame came to him as a director with films like Made (2001) or Elf (2003).

After having directed Cowboys & Aliens and the first two installments of Iron Man It gives a radical change in his career and after leaving Jersey Boys he wants to return to his roots with a film called Chef, which according to some media, will be in charge of writing, directing and starring.

The footage, which although it bears the same title, should not be confused with the one starring Bradley Cooper and Omar Sy, will be set in a Los Angeles restaurant, where Fabreau will play a somewhat picky chef.

The film is in the process of seeking funding and as soon as feasible, the machinery will be put into operation, something that could be soon given that it is said to be his lowest-budget project after the 2001 film Made.
