We have the trailer for «John Carter«, A film based on a classic novel by Edgar Rise Burroughs and which stars Taylor Kitsch, Mark Strong, Willem Dafoe, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Bryan Cranston and Thomas Hayden Church.
The story is set on the mysterious and exotic planet of Barsoom (Mars) and tells the story of a former military man, Captain John Carter (Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he gets into a conflict of epic proportions between the planet's inhabitants, including Tars Tarkas (Dafoe) and Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins).
But in a world on the brink of collapse, Carter realizes that the survival of Barsoom and his people rests in his hands ... Directed by Andrew Stanton (Wall-E, Finding Nemo), the film will hit theaters on March 9, 2012.
