Joaquín Sabina, 19 days and 500 nights

Joaquín Sabina

In its second screening at Spain, the documentary 'Joaquín Sabina, 19 days and 500 nights'will be presented by the Dutch filmmaker Ramon Gieling tomorrow. This will take place at the Ideal theater Cinema of Úbeda, riding a Jaén, and will recreate the radical change of life of the singer-songwriter after the stroke suffered in 2001.

It is known that friends and acquaintances of the eminent ubetense participate in this film, such as the singer-songwriter Javier Krahe, the musician Senator Caco, the writer Benjamin Prado, or the bullfighter Alejandro Talavante. In addition, the own Sabina lends itself to an extensive interview, and authorizes the cameras to follow him during the tour he will take with Joan Manuel Serrat.

The documentary also recounts the origins and the relationship that Joaquin has maintained with his hometown: “His cousin Juan José Gordillo talks about him at Sabina's house in Úbeda, recalling the beginnings and vicissitudes of the artist's youth. In addition, Gieling visits the Joaquín Sabina de Úbeda Municipal School of Music, with the Atalaya string group that interprets the theme that gives its name to the documentary".

Not to be missed.
