Iron Maiden: new album in sight

Iron Maiden

Clarified the amount of lies that were said in the foreign press regarding the incidents that occurred in Colombia, a well-known English magazine recently held an interview with Adrian Smith, guitarist for the legendary British heavy metal band Iron Maiden: They talked about the upcoming album, the relationship between members and whether they would retire permanently after 15 works…

Speaking of the possibility of record a new album...

"We've been talking about a new album briefly and I've been thinking about it ever since, because there are so many possibilities that we can do it. It would be great if we already had the songs and could get into the studios as soon as this tour is over. Normally, we take a long time off and in the studios we play as if we were live, which is a bit tense since by then we have not rehearsed for several months. I would like to do it as soon as possible ... but it is a job that is advanced day by day, it is taken as it comes and we try to do it in the best possible way"He explained.

Regarding what the bassist said Steve Harris about a year ago when he said that they would only make 15 records and then they would retire ...

"Look, we write music, we are musicians, we move on. The good thing is that there are obviously a lot of people waiting for what we are going to do next. In the real world, this is not a situation that occurs often, so you have to know how to appreciate it. It is not always easy to make a new album… we are six people with their own ideas and channeling all of them in one direction, it is quite complicated"He commented.
