Kiss seems to have returned (when did he leave?) and his bassist, the stage and theatrical Gene Simmons, began a dialogue with the Argentine newspaper Clarín, on the occasion of the imminent visit of the American group to the country in April, within the framework of the Quilmes Rock festival.

That the band of which Simmons is part of a great money-making machine is not news, and none of the members of Kiss once gave hints of regret with the look and the path that the band took. In fact, throughout the note, the musician remarked that "Money and girls are the most important things in life", making clear your lifestyle.

With a reality show under his belt (Gene Simmons: Family Jewels), Simmons explained the permanent changes in his band and He reviewed his life full of ambitions, his few excesses, the upcoming album and his incipient acting career.

Will there be a new Kiss album?
Yes. It will be something classic, very rock songs almost like the lost album that we never put out. The feeling of recording a new album between 1976 and 1978. And Paul is going to produce it. We never stop and sometimes people don't understand why we do that. If you want to do something you have to try everything
You were always critical of the religious issue. You do not believe in God?
The only thing I believe in is me. I don't like the God who creates diseases and kills children or the one who gives life and then invents something to kill, or give you a cold, cancer or HIV. As long as we are alive I would like cancer to leave us alone! We only live a few years. Why don't you let us have fun? Why does it kill us?
En the book Kiss and Make Up, written by Simmons, he confesses that he grew up convinced that he would never have children, in part because he lived in fear of repeating the mistakes of his father, who abandoned him as a child.
If you saw your father, what would you say to him?
I would have nothing to say to him. I achieved everything I wanted and worked for that. I think he would say he's proud of me.
What is most important in life?
The money and the girls.
And health?
Well: "Health, money and girls."
