The unthinkable happened last year when, after sixteen years apart, the British group The Stone Roses they reunited to perform at various festivals and tour the UK. This year they redoubled the bet and made a successful tour around the world showing a new stage and an unexpected rebirth of the legendary Manchester group. The Stone Roses decided to document this new stage through a documentary called 'The Stone Roses: Made of Stone' which premiered on May 30 in Manchester and was subsequently screened in UK cinemas on June 5.

'The Stone Roses: Made of Stone' summarizes the band's trajectory and also its return, and shows how the British prepared for the series of comeback concerts they gave last year. The director of the film, Shane Meadows (This Is England), is a declared follower of the band, in addition to showing the present of the Stone Roses also recovers images of the past of the band, remembering its sudden stardom and its dissolution as a backdrop of one of the most celebrated meetings in the last years of British rock.

The Stone Roses film crossed the Atlantic and was also released on October 10 at the CBGB Festival in New York. It is scheduled to be seen in theaters in the United States and Canada. In the rest of Europe it was announced that on December 3, 'The Stone Roses, Made Of Stone' will be on sale in DVD and Blu-Ray format.
