In recent years women have managed to emerge in the world of rap with notable figures such as Nicki Minaj, Azealia Banks and MIA Now this trio was recently joined by the Australian rapper 'Iggy Azalea', which for several months has not stopped climbing the charts around the world. In 2011, the Australian began her career when, from her YouTube channel, she achieved massive popularity with her videos of 'Pu $$ y' and 'My World' that achieved millions of views in a few weeks.

With her style and talent, added to the repercussion of her work, she managed that in a short time Azalea received a barrage of renowned rappers, singers and producers who took an interest in her. Between 2012 and 2013 rap figures such as TI, Diplo, BOB or Mike Posner collaborated with Azalea on the songs of their first EP, Glory, and later on the TrapGold mixtape.

On April 21 his first album was finally released under the name of 'The New Classic' through the Island Records label. The album had originally been announced in 2012, but issues with their previous record label (Interscope) delayed its release. The New Classic was released preceded by four singles: 'Work', 'Bounce', 'Change Your Life' and the latest 'Fancy', performed in collaboration with English singer 'Charli XCX'. The witty video for 'Fancy' was released in early April and has since garnered 38 million views on YouTube. After conquering the British market, the Australian has managed to break into the top ten of iTunes and Billboard in the US charts in recent weeks.
