Ian Brown says NO to the return of the Stone Roses

The Stone Roses

We are living through a season full of bands returning to activity in various parts of the world, some with better luck than others.
Well, The Stone Roses it is no stranger to this trend. This English group that released two very interesting albums (especially the first one, to my liking), and that was mandatory influence for every group Britpop of the 90, would come together again if its leader, the ineffable Ian Brown, give his arm to twist.

Gary «Hands» mounfield, bassist of the aforementioned band and current member of Primal Scream, commented: “I already talked to John Squire and Reni about this possibility a few years ago, and they said they would like to take it up at some point. But Ian flatly refused".

Recall that Stone roses they officially separate in the year 1996 by "irreconcilable personal grudges”Among its members the same ones that after twelve years seem to still exist.
"People will always be interested in our return, but you should ask what Ian thinks about all this.
If he changes his mind, we will surely be back ... but I'm also sure that if he did, in less than a year he would be back in Primal Scream
"He added.

Everything is in the hands of Ian Brown.
