This week, coinciding with the XNUMXth anniversary of the release of the British group's first album The Smiths (February 12, 1984), the music download platforms iTunes relaunched its discography complete fully remastered. This collection includes all his studio albums "The Smiths" (1984), "Meat Is Murder" (1985), "The Queen Is Dead" (1986) and "Strangeways, Here We Come" (1987); as well as the live album “Rank” and the compilation collections of singles and B-sides of 'Hatful of Hollow' and 'The World Won't Listen'.
The most unconditional followers of the British group, in addition to acquiring these albums in digital format separately, will also have the option of buying this collection in its entirety as a 'luxury digital product' as promoted by iTunes, titled simply as 'The Smiths - Complete'.
Many of his fans do not lose hope and still dream of a possible reunion of The Smiths. This possibility seems distant, considering last year's statements from Johnny Marr: «Our fans believe that the group will have a happy ending. That would be cool. It is difficult when people assume that their life has to be completed with something like that. If a band that broke up 25 years ago should get back together ... you don't need something like a happy ending for things to end ».
