Heavy Entertainment Show, the new from Robbie Williams

Heavy Entertainment Show

Robbie Williams just announced the release of his new album, 'Heavy Entertainment Show', the first in the last three years and the eleventh of study in his recording career.

'Heavy Entertainment Show' will be released on November 4 through Columbia Records. Produced by his regular collaborator, Guy Chambers (Kylie Minogue, Katy B, Example), Williams' new album contains eleven previously unreleased tracks (16 in the Deluxe version) and features special guest appearances by Ed Sheeran and frontman The Killers, Brandon Flowers, plus two duets with well-known American musicians Rufus Wainwright and John Grant. The first single chosen for broadcast will be 'Party Like a Russian'.

About the title 'Heavy Entertainment Show' the British singer commented to the press a few hours ago: “I was brooding around the phrase Light Entertainment, from most of the historic TV shows (quizzes, variety shows, etc.) from when I was a kid. There were 30 million viewers watching TV screens, a huge shared collective experience at the time, which was simply called light entertainment. Sometimes it could be misinterpreted, but for me that was heavy entertainment. Actually, this is what I hope to achieve with this album, to have a shared experience with millions of people in the light, but vitaminized, entertainment environment ».

In addition to Guy Chambers, well-known British producer Stuart Price (Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Scissor Sisters) has also participated in the new production of Williams, on the songs 'Bruce Lee' and 'Sensitive'. Rufus Wainwright participates in a duet on the single 'Hotel Crazy' and John Grant on the song 'I Don't Want to Hurt You'. The Deluxe version of the Heavy Entertainment Show will feature 16 tracks and will also feature a DVD with exclusive behind-the-scenes scenes from the album's production.

The cover, the tracklist and an audiovisual teaser are now available for broadcast. The album's title track, 'Heavy Entertainment Show', is now available for download hours after his 40-second presentation this weekend, during the last broadcast of the UK show 'X Factor'.
