HBO arrives in Europe with its streaming service

After the success of Netflix In many European countries, such as the United Kingdom, different streaming services are appearing that come directly from the United States and are being installed in Europe.

Netflix It has been the trigger for the movie rental boom and different paid content, something that many did not bet on and declared that they could not compete, much less be profitable.

Now the American cable television channel HBO is almost ready to begin its landing in Europe. It will start offering its service from next October in the following countries: Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.

Thanks to this new service, all those who hire it will be able to enjoy not only series but also movies that are broadcast in the United States, one day late and with subtitles. At the moment it will only be available in these countries although it could be extended to other corners of Europe. Do you think that this kind of service could work and make enough profit to be able to keep up on a continuous basis?
