The Enders Game, is the adaptation of the play by Orson Scott in which Asa Butterfield will play the title role and it is very possible that the actor Harrison Ford join the cast in the role of Colonel Hyrum Graff, at least it seems pretty close by now.
The direction of the film is in the hands of Gavin Hood, it is a futuristic film that places humanity in a not too distant 2070. Humans are at war with an alien race called the Buggers.
The protagonist is Andrew Ender, a child prodigy who is recruited by the International Fleet to lead the war, as part of his training he must practice a fantasy game, along with other disciplines and a final test in which he must show that he is capable of save the world.
The theatrical release is scheduled for March 2013, although it is probably not the final date, experience tells us that there are always delays, therefore we should not be under any illusions about the date.
