Green Day: new album in sight

Go Back Green Day: the band has posted this video where they are seen in the studio recording their new CD, which will be the first after 21's '2009st Century Breakdown'. In the clip, the frontman Billie Joe Armstrong say what «It is a new sound and I have it in my head«.

The work will be produced by Rob cavallo, who commented that the band is creating "something great" with this new material, that it would see the light towards the end of the year and that according to the band, it will be an album 'voyeurist'. At the moment there are no more confirmations about the topics it will include or the specific date of publication.

Last year they had released the live CD / DVD, 'Awesome As Fuck'. It is a work that contains the best songs of the tour that they have done in 2009-2010, a total of 17. "Cigarettes And Valentines" was the theme chosen at the time to promote this live show, which is the group's second, after 2006's 'Bullet In A Bible', which was recorded at the Milton Keynes Bowl in Great Britain.
