Great sales list support for Klaus & Kinski

Klaus & Kinski

La sales list of records in Spain lately gives pleasant surprises. That mega-industry of the CD with its zenith in the 90 is far away, however, many labels and alternative groups currently publish a considerable number of copies on vinyl (paradoxically a physical format on the rise among so much digital download). It could be said that it is the triumph of music itself, the faithfulness Of the one who listens to good music and spends the money to buy the artists' material, groups that are not at all framed in what we understand by mainstream can appear in the top positions in sales.

This week, in particular, the independent label  Jabalina has managed to place one of his albums among the best-selling in the country according to the Promusicae list. 'Blacksmiths and fatigue', the new Klaus & Kinski, is placed in position 54. In comparison, something lower than what Delorean arrived with 'Subiza' (position 38), La Bien Querida with 'Fiesta' (position 30) or Mr. Chinarro with 'Presidente' (position 17 ), but above what the majority of bands on the independent scene that may come to mind throughout their history have achieved. Alejandro and Marina's entry would have been even higher if the vinyl it would not have been exhausted in the first two days in the main stores in Madrid (Fnac Callao, El Corte Inglés de Preciados). The group has tweeted: "we are going to the mainstream!".

Bebe, who was number 1 with 'Y.', has to settle this time for number 16 with his surprising 'Un pokito de rock and roll'. Those who do not fail are Serrat & Sabina, direct to number 1 with 'The Titanic Orchestra', already certified as platinum.

Other interesting entries are those of Pet Shop Boys with 'Format' at '43, Mark Lanegan Band with 'Blues Funeral' at '53, Air with 'Le Voyage dans La Lune' at '89, Paul McCartney at '18 with 'Kisses On The Bottom' or Van Halen with ' A Different Kind Of Truth 'at position 35. Russian Red returns to the list with' Fuerteventura ', specifically at position 61.
