GQ Awards: Another recognition for Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin

Last night the awards ceremony organized by the North American magazine took place GQ. In a ceremony that had as presenters Elton John y Lily Allen, the producer Mark Ronson y Primal Scream, a band that was voted the best of the year, were among the winners.

But the award of the night and the biggest ovation went to Led Zeppelin: They took the award for their extraordinary trajectory, the same one that was delivered by the leader of the foo Fighters, Dave Grohl, who took the opportunity to thank them and talk a little about how much he owes to this mythical English group.

"I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for them. They are, without a doubt, my favorite band and I learned to play drums by listening to their records… I also studied Jimmy's way of playing electric and acoustic guitar… I didn't go to university… I decided to drop it… instead of her I studied Led Zeppelin"He commented.

The award was received by Jimmy Page y Robert Plant. The presence of the latter will surely increase the rumors of a possible reunion in the not too distant future.
