Steven Zhu, the 27-year-old Chinese-American musician, has in a very short time managed to get the whole world talking about his music, keeping your image outside the business. ZHU's advancement has been unstoppable since February 2014, when he debuted an Outkast medley remix on Soundcloud and recently reached a Grammy Award nomination as a producer.

This August ZHU made headlines again for the release of their debut album: 'GENERATIONWHY'. This new album includes the single that gives the album its name, and which was widely praised critically, also including the song 'In The Morning', in collaboration with Skrillex, and the single 'Working For It', a single that since its release on November 2015 has been listened to more than 86 million times on Spotify.

'GENERATIONWHY' was released on July 29 by the Columbia label and this week it has reached # 1 on the iTunes Dance chart and the Top 20 globally.. A few months ago ZHU has been considered by the American press as "One of the most sophisticated dance music producers of his generation", and their productions have been positively received by major music media such as Rolling Stone Magazine, Pitchfork, The FADER, COMPLEX Magazine, Zane Lowe's Beats1, Radio 1's Annie Mac, and Pete Tong.

His previous record work, 2015's 'Genesis Series EP', was widely acclaimed by critics., exceeded 100 million digital listeners in a few months and with the collaboration of important artists of the moment such as AlunaGeorge, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Daniel John, A-Trak and Gallant, among others.

'GENERATIONWHY' is now available on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play. Its release features a special limited edition color vinyl, and those lucky enough to pre-order the first 400 copies of the vinyl will receive a limited edition signed copy as a bonus.
