After six years of silence, the new film by Californian director Mike Mills, "20th Century Women", in which we can see several generations of women and some of the best actresses in today's cinema: Annette Bening (American Beauty), Elle Fanning (Maleficent) and Greta Gerwig (Maggie's plan).

In this trailer we can already see the setting of the new film, in California. There we will see the growth of Dorothea's (Bening) adolescent son. In the boy's growth they will play an important role the three female protagonists of the film, who will accompany the young man in his discoveries of his life, men, love and women.
The film is set in Santa Barbara, and the central story is that of Dorothea Fields, a single woman to whom life has given some other setback, already in the maturity of her life. His teenage son, Jamie (Lucas Jade Zumann) is immersed in an environment of rebellion and cultural changes.
Director Mike Mills himself has defined this film as a tribute to the women who raised him, his mother, his sisters and his first loves. Remember that Mills' latest work, "Beginners," received many awards, including the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Christopher Plummer.
"20th Century Women" opens on October 8 in theaters in the US, at the central gala of the New York Festival, although The premiere will not take place in commercial theaters until December 23.
