In the story, Mallory Kane (Carano) is a high-capacity agent, working for a government security contractor in the world's most dangerous corners. After successfully rescuing a kidnapped Chinese journalist, she is betrayed by someone from her own agency.
In this way, Mallory must find the truth in order to stay alive, as she realizes that she is going to be killed unless she finds a way to catch her adversary.
The film is directed by Steven Soderbergh and it opens in theaters in the US next week, on January 20.
