Known by titles like «The graduate»Or«A cage of crickets«This German director who has lived in the United States since he was 7 years old leaves us unexpectedly.

Mike Nichols was one of the privileged few to get the EGOT, an honor that has only been achieved by a dozen personalities from the world of entertainment.

In 1967 he achieved the Oscar Prize for best director for "The Graduate", a film that only got this statuette of up to six nominations.

Previously I had already obtained the Grammy in 1961 and two Tony Awards, of a total of nine that would end up obtaining in his career in the theater.
