Based on a true story, Everlasting Moments follows the life of Maria Larsson, the first female photographer in distant Sweden.
During the more than two hours that the film reaches, the story focuses on the happy moments and not so much that it went through Larsson, who had to deal with an alcoholic husband, forcing her to take over all family responsibilities.
In the middle of that life full of instability, she will meet a man who will encourage her to develop her photographic skills, becoming a great artist and opening doors to a hitherto unknown world.
The cast of the film includes the actress Maria heiskanen and the actors Mikael persbrandt, as the protagonist's husband and Jesper Christensen, as the man who will help her get started in photography.
It is run by the experienced Jan Troell, who worked with stars of the stature of Max von Sydow and Liv Ullmann. Everlasting moments was selected by the Nordic country to compete for the Oscar for best foreign film, and in the next few days he will be able to contest the statuette since he was among the nominees.
