Ellie Goulding has suffered an accident in Norway that almost cost her her life

The British Ellie Goulding suffered an accident on January 16 that nearly cost her life, both her and her companion, the photographer Conor McDonell, who decided to immortalize the fatal moment once they were both safe.

While visiting Norway, at -25 degrees and crossing a frozen lake, the SUV in which Ellie Goulding was traveling broke down. The ice under the vehicle began to break and it began to sink with its occupants still inside.. Already with the SUV half sunk, Ellie and Conor managed to get out of the vehicle through the roof and seeing how in a few minutes it was completely sunk.

Conor, by pure professional deformation, began to take pictures of the fatal moment and it has been now, several weeks after the event, that both decided that this was "Too crazy a story not to tell". It has been Conor McDonell through his Instagram account who has told the event, accompanied by a photograph that, despite the horrible moment, is nothing short of spectacular.

This is how Conor himself recounted how they experienced the accident: Ellie Goulding and I weren't going to tell this, but we decided it was too laudable a story not to tell. This photo is from when we were in Norway a few weeks ago. The one where you're at -25 degrees in the middle of nowhere, in total darkness, your SUV starts falling through the ice in the middle of a lake and you have to emergency evacuate through the roof. The first thing I thought was, 'shit, where are we'. The next thing was to start taking photos. We were leading. In the photo everything was already quite sunk. Minutes later everything had disappeared under the ice ».

A horrible story with a happy ending. Remember, Ellie Goulding fans, that we will have her on tour in Spain in a few days: February 5 and 6 in Barcelona and Madrid, respectively. We leave you below the photograph that Conor published on Instagram.
