Leo DiCaprioy George Clooney they come together: the actor will star in "Farragut North," and Clooney may well end up directing it. The Warner Bros Company acquired the film rights to this play written by Beau Willimon.
The play tells the story of a young communications director who will work for the presidential candidate in the United States. The author of the work drew on his own experience as a campaign advisor to Howard Dean, who lost the run for president to John Kerry in 2004.
The play not yet premiere: it will be next year on Broadway. The director is Mike Nicholls and the protagonist is the rising Jake gyllenhaal, in what will be his debut on the New York theater scene.
