Details of the new Beach House album

From the moment they confirmed Beach House For the San Miguel Primavera Sound 2012, it was known that the duo from Baltimore were working on what will be their fourth album. The Canadian magazine Exclaim, normally a reliable source, posted a story for weeks for a few hours giving very specific details about its launch: according to that news, the title album "Bloom", would arrive in mid-May through Sub Pop and would consist of ten songs.

All the details that were given then were true. Beach House will release their fourth album, “Bloom”, on May 14th through beautiful union (One day later Sub Pop will be in charge of distributing it among North American stores). This time, we already have more information about this job.

Beach House

It was recorded in late 2011 at the Sonic Ranch studios in Tornillo (Texas) and was mixed at Electric Lady in New York. It is co-produced by the duo from Baltimore and Chris Cody. They say that the soundscape of this album was designed on the road, in the midst of the countless sound tests and the many experiences they had during the last two years of touring. Without warning, during that time melodies, strings, rhythms, words and textures emerged. All these spontaneous ideas were later collected and developed in their hometown.
