Ernesto Guevara? He is not only a reason for admiration and a figure as loved as he is questioned. The Argentine revolutionary is also a source of cinematographic interest. A cycle of film screenings in homage to "Che" began last night in the city of Buenos Aires.

The first film to be shown was "Che Guevara Everywhere", by Cuban Carlos Javier Rodríguez. The film is, as the director explained, "a brief account of the history of the revolutionary through rarely seen images and photos, 40 years after his death in Bolivia in October 1967."

The film in question lasts just over 50 minutes and has testimonies from Ernesto Guevara's childhood and youth friends, such as Alberto Granado and Carlos "Calica" Ferrer, who accompanied him on his two trips to Latin America in the 50s.

Recently, the figure of Guevara came to theaters in the hands of "Motorcycle Diaries", Walter Salles' film that tells the life of "Che", before turning to the revolutionary struggle. Apparently, his life continues to give cloth to cut in the world of cinema.
