After putting an end to his time as Batman / Bruce Wayne with the premiere of "The Dark Knight: The Legend Rises", Christian Bale will be one of the protagonists of the western "The Creed of Violence" by Todd Field.
Some time ago the name of Leonardo DiCaprio had been sounded for this project, but recent information makes it clear that the actor will not finally be in the film.

The novel, as the film will do, tells the story of a An agent who, while escorting a criminal to Mexico, realizes that they both have a common past.
It is not yet known what role Christian Bale will play, what is certain is that he will play one of the protagonists, or the criminal or the agent who guards him.
Bale has numerous projects on his schedule after ending his collaboration with film director Christopher Nolan in the saga of "The Dark Knight", as well as in "The Creed of Violence" by Todd Field, the actor will appear shortly in the films Terrence Malick's "Lawless" and "Knight of Cups."
