The project to bring to the screens the American remake of "Oldboy" by the hand of Spike Lee, second part of the trilogy of the revenge of Park chan-wook.
Now the version of the third part of said trilogy is also going to be made, «Sympathy for Lady Vengeance«.
Charlize Theron, who had already embarked on this project as a producer through her company Dever & Delilah Films, will be the one who stars in the film.
The actress has many scheduled jobs to be released next year as "Snow White and the Huntsman 2", "Mad Max 4", "The Brazilian Job" or "Hancock 2".
The script for this remake of "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" will be in charge of William Monah, who wrote scripts like "The Departed" by Martin Scorsese or "Web of Lies" by Ridley Scott.
At the moment the American remakes of the second and third installments of the revenge trilogy by Park Chan-wook. Surely someone will soon decide to bet on the first, "Sympathy for Mr Vengeance", a high-level film like the other two.
