In the last Oscar awards, three Mexican directors stood out for having three great cinematographic proposals, which had great support from critics and the public. On one side was Guillermo del Toro, with his well-known "Pan's Labyrinth", while Alejandro González Iñárritu, had presented his multilingual "Babel", with Brad Pitt, Gael García Bernal, and Kate Blanchet. As if that weren't enough, Alfonso Cuarón, also from Mexico, had his film “Children of men”.
And although they have worked separately, the friendship that unites them has already led to a first proposal, which the three sponsored through their production company Cha Cha Cha, created by the three directors.
The film is called "Rudo y Cursi" and will feature the participation of Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal, who will play two brothers with opposite personalities and where soccer will play a relevant role.
The tape will feature the address of? Carlos Cuarón, Alfonso's brother, who had already been related to these actors because he was the co-author of “Y tu mama tambien”.
