"Calm Down": Sneak Peek at Katy B's New

Katy B

Since in 2011 he surprised everyone with his first album 'On a Mission' (2011), The musical career of the British Katy B (Kathleen Anne Brien) has been a non-stop of successes, making it clear that his thing is to move within electronic music like a fish in water. After her album 'Little Red' (2014), Katy B recently collaborated with London DJ and house music producer KDA (Kris Di Angelis) on the song 'Turn The Music Louder', with which they managed to reach number one in the British charts.

Although the promotion of 'Little Red' is just finished, Katy B did not want to let a lot of time pass to present the first preview of what will be his next album, the title of which is already known: 'Honey'. This first advance is entitled 'Calm Down' and with it he again shows that his is the dance floors. 'Calm Down' is a great deep house song in which Katy B's voice manages to shine spectacularly and that, surely, you will not be able to stop listening.

'Calm Down' is also signed by Four Tet (Kieran Hebden), English musician with 8 albums published behind him, the last this year, 'Morning / Evening' (Text Records, June 2015), who has remixed artists such as Radiohead, Manic Street Preachers or Sia among others; and also by Floating Points (Sam Shepherd), a 24-year-old DJ and producer from Manchester who has managed in a short time to become one of the most respected and sought-after musicians of recent years.

Katy B yesterday uploaded this new song to her Soundcloud account and it already has more than sixty thousand reproductions. His new album, 'Honey', is expected to see the light during the next year 2016. Here it becomes irremediable to think in a selfish way and wish that 'Honey' arrives very, very soon.
