DARK, the new band formed by The Smiths bassist Andy Rourke and Dolores O'Riordan, the famous lead singer of The Cranberries, arrives in Madrid on May 26, with an expected concert, where they will present live the songs of their new album, the first of their recently started career.

This new formation comes to Spain to present your first work, called “Science Agrees”, which encompasses the personalities of the new band, with their nuances of electronics and “new wave”, with easily identifiable influences from The Cure, Depeche Mode, David Bowie and New Order, among others.

This album will come out market the day after the Madrid concert, that is, the May 27, which will take place in the well-known Caracol room. Tickets are on sale for 22 euros, separate distribution costs, starting today in the official sales channels, that is, doctormusic.com, ticketmaster.es, Fnac, Viajes Carrefour and Halcón Viajes.

DARK was born as fusion of different personalities, united in a common project. From Dolores O'Riordan, the voice of The Cramberries, a band that sold more than 40 million records, bassist Andy Rourke, who has worked with artists such as Pretenders, Sinead O'Connor, Ian Brown, etc., to whom adds the composer, producer and DJ from New York, Ole Koretsky.

The roots of this band with New Yorkers, with many aspects in common, both in their musical and personal trajectories, which has served to compact this new project. The result of this is this new work that will be released on May 27 with the title "Science Agree", but we can enjoy their first single, "Curvy". In this work can be seen of great names in the music scene, such as Angelo Badalamenti, The Cure, Depeche Mode, David Bowie, New Order or REM, in addition to inspiration in the production of Brian Eno's work.
