Recently, we learned that Bruce Willis would be the protagonist of the remake of "The Justice of the City." The novelty this week is that Eli Roth will be the director of this new version that at the time was carried out by Charles Bronson.

This project has already gone through Joe Carnahan, Gerardo Naranjo and the couple formed by Aharon Keshales & Navot Papushado. The vision of the latter two apparently did not coincide much with that of the producer. The same case has been that of Joe Carnahan, who has abandoned due to creative differences, the gossips say that due to the incorporation of Bruce Willis as the protagonist (I do not see so much drama in the matter the truth).

This film is intended to be a more faithful version of Brian Gardfiel's novel. The one from 1974, the one starring Charles Bronson, had an argument in which a father realizes that by going out at night to hunt criminals he can find the rapists and murderers of his wife and daughter. This film made the actor an out of the ordinary in action movies. Although James Wan also made a version with Kevin Bacon as the protagonist called Sentencia de muete, it seems that the producer that owns the rights is willing to continue exploiting the story.

Scott Alexander & Larry Karaszewski ('Big Eyes', 'Nightmares') will sign the final version of this script. In this new argument, Paul Kersey tries to take justice for his part in the face of the inactivity of the police when three criminals assault his house, killing his wife and leaving his daughter traumatized.
