This Irish band recently spoke to an Italian fan base about their participation in the show of Broadway what's coming, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, the same one that will transport the legendary hero of Marvel from the magazines to the stage.
Seven months after some previews about the show are released, Bond y The EdgeWho they are authors of the music and the lyrical part of the musical, they told how they got involved with the project and the similarities - in their opinion - between the rock stars and the characters from the 'comic' ...
"We were always open to the idea of doing musical theater ... but Spider-Man ... is something completely different because it is about comic books, and there is a lot of relationship between punk rock, rock bands and comics, dating back many years.
We really want to play with pop culture, twist it and see what comes out of it all"He said Bond.
"Every rock star probably started out as the bookworm who was bullied at school and his way of getting revenge was by writing songs or learning to play the guitar.”Added The Edge.
