In the early morning of this Saturday (25), Blur the euphoria of those attending the second day of the Primavera Sound festival overflowed in an unforgettable show. The London quartet, led by Damon Albarn, overshadowed the 50 attendees who gathered at the Barcelona Forum site in the cold early morning. It has been almost fifteen years since the original formation of the quartet (Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree) It did not sound in the peninsula and it has been a decade since they climbed in Spain, when they played for the last time in Barcelona, in a dark era in which the band was about to separate.
Last night was the opposite Blur arrived on the Barcelona stage to make his fans vibrate by playing his best classics, among which sounded 'Song 2', 'The universal', 'Tender' or 'Girls & boys', songs that sounded fresh as never before, with accelerated times, and taking those brit pop classics to an extreme that made them border on punk-rock and that made the audience enthusiastic.
The band's guitarist, Graham Coxon, managed to cover its entire musical dimension with a wide repertoire of resources and figures, although the undisputed protagonist of the night was Damon Albarn, who did not reserve strength and kept his energy full throughout the show. All those who were able to witness the show agreed that the Londoners offered a real concert, extremely funny and that knew how to enthuse the most indifferent.
