In an interview for the with the BBC, this London group has revealed that it is very possible that only release singles in digital format, instead of the classic vinyl or compact discs.
Gordon moakes, the bassist of Bloc Party stated: “Our company has always supported the ideas we had for this latest album and for our future singles. Right now we are talking about the possibility of not releasing them in physical format, after the release of 'talons' ...".
Lisack he also said that his band not interested in the least occupy a good position in the popularity charts: "Music was never a competition ... when has it been? ... A decision may be not wanting to be involved in it and launch digital formats on purpose".
