The unique and talented singer of The Gossip, Beth Ditto, took a break from his celebrated band to release an EP in collaboration with DJ duo, Simian Mobile Disco, known in the environment for having worked with Artic Monkeys, Peaches and Klaxons, among others.
The relationship between them dates back to 2009, the year the English launched SMD Temporary Pleasure, album in which Ditto sang Cruel Intentions. From there, there were good vibes and the singer summoned them for what, apparently, will be her take off as a soloist.
The EP is titled From Construction and it will have 4 topics that make up about 20 minutes in total. His first single, of which there is already a video, is called Open Heart Surgery and is the one that closes the disc. His departure is scheduled for next March.
