Ben Affleck replaces Edward Norton at State of Play

I already told you here at the time the abandonment by Brad Pitt de State of Play, the film adaptation of a series broadcast by the BBC (as happened at the time with Traffic now that I remember), and whose direction was entrusted to Kevin Macdonald (director of The Last King of Scotland).

The point is that Pitt was replaced by Russell Crowe, who was going to face artistically speaking another of my favorites as he is Edward Norton, But as comrade Alex Socco told, he also left the project because it coincided with the preparation of the comedy Leaves of Grass.

The film was becoming a challenge for the producers, who fortunately have found a substitute (although it does not reach the sole of his shoes as an actor) in Ben Affleck. In State of Play, Affleck plays an aspiring congressman who is sparked by scandal after the murder of his lover.
