Ayria releases new EP: «Feed Her To The Wolves»

ayria

ayria is finally back. Since 2013, the Canadian Jennifer Parkin edited her latest work, 'Plastic Makes Perfect', that project that always hung around between industrial synthpop and EBM that she called Ayria (once jokingly told that it was the acronym for « Awesome, Yeah Really, I'm Awesome ») has only been seen on stage.

It cannot be said that the wait is completely over, because what comes to us from Ayria is just a preview EP of what will be her next album, 'Paper Dolls', which will not be released until next 2016. This EP bears by title 'Feed Her To The Wolves' and the first song has already been released, 'Underneath The Water', with which Jennifer Parkin returns again with her pounding and catchy sequences, the dark lyrics and her strangely melodious voice that manages to fit perfectly with everything dark always wraps his songs. 'Feed Her To The Wolves' will go on sale on October 23 and can now be pre-purchased through bandcamp.

For those of you who have discovered Ayria now and enjoy EBM and Industrial to the fullest, tell you that since 2003, when her first album was released, 'Debris', there are already four published works, five if we count the next 'Paper Dolls' : 'Debris (2003),' Flicker '(2005),' Hearts for Bullets' (2008) and 'Plastic Makes Perfect' (2013). I leave you below with the audio of his new 'Underneath The Water'. You can find the lyrics of the song that she shared from her Facebook page after the jump.

Underneath the water

Your body's cold
It must have been dark
you were vulnerable
And everyone knew it

You were struggling
You can't deny it
They asked you not to do it
You walked on by them
I wish I could have saved you
I couldn't find you
And now you've disappeared

You will stay unchanged
Underneath the water
Just close your eyes, just close your eyes

There was no time
For things we never said
There's never time
And now it's all pointless

You were struggling
You can't deny it
They asked you not to do this
You walked on by them
I wish I could have saved you
I couldn't find you
And now you're gone forever

You will stay unchanged
Underneath the water
Just close your eyes, just close your eyes
They knew you well, they knew all the
Things you never told them
It's in your eyes, it's in your eyes.
