"Argo" will have its Iranian version, "Joint Command"

Affleck and Cranston in Argo

Iranian cinema is going to give its own version of the event developed in Ben Affleck's film "Argo."

Ataollah Salmanian will be its director and the film will be called "Joint Command."

'' Joint Command 'will be our response to the anti-Iranian' Argo '' commented the director of the film himself when it became known that Ben Affleck's film had won the awards from best film and best director at the Golden Globes, and added "Affleck finally won the award for his lies."

Ataollah Salmanian, a filmmaker completely unknown outside the borders of his country, has promised to shoot this film that will narrate the same event as the acclaimed "Argo" but from the Iranian point of view.

Ben Affleck directs 'Argo'.

"Joint Command" promises to be a great success by taking advantage of What the North American film is achieving, after the very important awards that "Argo" is collecting, and it must be remembered that it could still be done with the Oscar for best film, many people will want to see the other version of history, the Iranian one.

Whether out of outrage, as the proper director indicates, or taking advantage of the success of Ben Affleck's film, Ataollah Salmanian has in his hands a film that will surely not go unnoticed.
