Amy Winehouse founds her own record label

Amy Winehouse

Tired of claims of his record company for composing songs "that hit the mark", one of the most talented (and self-destructive) singers of these times, Amy Winehouse decided to create her own record label: LIoness Records.

It is still unknown whether Amy, once her contract with Island records, will edit his albums with the brand new company, but the truth is that Lioness Records is already targeting small artists.

One of the promises that Winehouse will promote is Dionne Bromfield, a little girl of only 13 years old, goddaughter of the singer and owner of an imposing voice. Bromfield will be the label's first release, which will be released in October under the name of Introducing Dionne Bromfield. There you can enjoy classics such as Ain't no mountain high enough, Tell him and My boy Lollipop, in addition to a song in which Amy will collaborate, entitled Mom Said.

Winehouse has only had words of praise for the little girl, ensuring that she sings even better than she at her age: “She has an amazing voice and I am very proud of her. I feel very lucky to have a record label. I have all these people that I love, who are really talented, and Dionne is my number one.
