Amanda mair is the new revelation of European pop, with only sixteen years. It has become a breath of fresh air that is made up of suggestive melodies that are mixed with synthesized sounds and soft vocal harmonies. The voice of indie made in Sweden these days has been presenting its debut in a Spanish mini-tour that landed yesterday in Malaga and this same night it did so in Madrid.
The young artist with a couple of singles on the market has managed to focus great expectations of the world of disco at an international level on his first work, which he plans to release this spring. As we said, he has already advanced two songs through the Swedish label Labrador. "House" fell in June of last year where he was already presented with a sweet and personal voice along with synthpop echoes that had continuity in his last song to date "Doubt" released last October. Both songs present the singer's clean voice and electronic arrangements in the right measure, with a progressive and enveloping sound that recalls the first hits of Kate Bush o Dusty springfield, with which the young woman has been compared. More recent influences also come to the fore, such as those of his countrymen and labelmates 8 Club y jj o The Mary Onettes, and it is not surprising that it sounds like the latter because Philip Exstrom, singer of said group, is under the controls in the production of this work.
Amanda Mair was born on an island outside of Stockholm and her voice was discovered by chance, since she did not plan to dedicate herself to music professionally, her voice well deserves that we give her that opportunity.
