Almost 20% of Spaniards download music from the Internet

No one can stop Internet as a means of music distribution: and we are not talking about downloads legal, such as Amazon or iTunes but from the calls'illegal', which are not really such because it is more than anything a way of sharing files between users.

According to a recent report in Spain, some Seven million of people between 14 and 70 years old - 19,7% of the Spanish population - acknowledged having downloaded music over the Internet in the last three months.

According to the study by the Center for Research in the Entertainment and Culture Market (CIMEC), each Internet user downloads an average of 25 melodies per month, if we take the songs separately.

And the study indicates that the system 'peer-to-peer'(P2P), we are talking about Ares or eMule-style programs, it was the almost exclusive medium with which Internet downloads were made.
