One of the music festivals that have gained ground and recognition in recent years is undoubtedly the Eurovision, a meeting that brings together the best of the old continent in terms of music.

This year, the winner of the 54th edition of the European competition was the Norwegian singer Alexander Rybak, only 23 years old, who devoted himself to the theme "Fairytale" ("Fairy tale") in the final carried out in the Olimpíyski pavilion in Moscow, Russia.

For his part, heIcelandic Yohanna and the musicians representing Azerbaijan, Aysel & Arash, came in second and third, respectively.

From the stage rybak thanked the Russian public for their affection, telling them «They are the best public in the world«, And then say goodbye in a big way with the aforementioned song.

As if that were not enough, it must be said that Rybak is the clearest winner in the entire history of the contest, winning the award with the largest victory ever recorded in the history of the festival. The Norwegian got a total of 387 votes, followed far behind by Yohanna, with 218.

The Spanish Soraya was located at the bottom of the table, being in penultimate place, with just 23 votes.
