In an incessant search to find alternative ways to publish and store his music, Nicholas Jarr revealed a new idea: A music box called Prism . This musical innovation is carried out through his own music-oriented company, called Clown & Sunset Aesthetics.
Well, “Don't Break My Love” is the label's new compilation Clown & Sunset, commanded by Nicolas Jaar. Most of the twelve tracks are unpublished and are signed by artists close to the platform, such as Pavla & Noura, Just Friends, Acid Pauli or Jaar himself.
The peculiarity of the launch, as we mentioned, is that it will not arrive on vinyl or CD or as a digital download, but in the form of cardboard bucket. The wit has an internal battery that is powered by USB. Once charged, you only have to connect a pair of headphones to either of the two outputs of the cube to be able to listen to the music. The cube has been designed by Jaar himself and its content cannot be modified; neither can add or remove songs.
"The Prism" is the first proposal from Clown & Sunset Aesthetic, the new "house of culture" founded by Chilean-American talent, and will be available starting in April at the price of $ 40. Beyond curiosity, the object seeks to establish bridges between the disputed dichotomy between digital and physical media in the context of musical consumption.
