The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain will remember next Tuesday, November 5, the well-known and charismatic actor Juan Luis Galiardo placeholder image, died on June 22 at the age of 72 after a long illness.
A documentary about his life and work entitled “galliardo”, Coordinated by José Luis García Sánchez and Pedro Costa and carried out by Agustin Pisonero, which will be attended by many directors and co-workers.
Some of the directors he had were Berlanga, Fernan Gomez, León de Aranoa, Trueba, Mercero, Saura, Santiago Segura and Antonio Giménez-Rico among many others in the long career that this prolific and remembered actor of Spanish cinematography had.
Antonio Giménez-Rico will present this documentary that will have interleaved images of several of the films in which he participated, as well as different interviews and images of his career, from his beginnings at the Film School back in the sixties to the last representation he made in "The spark of life".
