A few weeks ago, Disney released what is so far the first promotional image of the version that Tim Burton prepares one of the most important classic children's stories: Alice and Wonderland.
Although several photos were already known, it seems that the Disney factory is already planning to promote the film, generating texpectations of adaptation with actors of flesh and blood. And considering that the project will be Disney's biggest premiere next year, it's no wonder something is ahead.
The image was published in the Disney twenty-three, new institutional magazine of the company, in which the young Australian actress is seen Mia wasikowska, characterized as an Alice not so gloomy and much more crystalline than one might think, in reference to Burtonean aesthetics.
The premiere is scheduled for March 2010, and in addition to the direction of Burton, they will be acting in the film, JJohnny Depp, as the Mad Hatter (Only that already deserves to see it); TOnne Hathaway, who will play the White Queen; and Helena Bonham Carter, as the Red Queen.
The official name of the tape will be Alice in Wonderland y it will combine scenes with the Performance Capture technique (digitizing the actors), with real performances.
