The Donnas releases Greatest Hits Vol. 16, their first compilation album


In less than a month, July 7 to be more precise, the punk-pop band The Donna, will have their first big hits album on the racks, Greatest Hits Vol. one, a record that reviews his entire career, and that celebrates the 16 years of the group.

The California gang is made up entirely of girls, what did they decided self-baptize under the pseudonym Donna, just like the Ramones did and so many other bands. In fact, The Donnas is clearly influenced by Joey & Cía., As well as AC / DC hard rockers and glam Kiss.

The band was formed in 1993, and since then he maintained his original training, with Brett Anderson on vocals and keyboards, Allison Robertson on guitar, Maya Ford on bass and Torry Castellano on drums.
